ok, so this has had the most post-work i have ever done on a flower photo.
besides the usual auto-colour and contrast adjustments, i added an unsharpen mask, which is the first time i ever used it, so i'm not sure if it has worked, then i created a layer mask to blur the background, then blended 'multiply'..
i'm quite happy with the result, but if anybody thinks something isn't quite right, please tell me..
Well - i'm sure you know how i'm not a big fan of blur - but actually i think this works rik. Maybe a tad tad tad (tiniest teeniest weeniest bit) over softened but not tooooooo much. I love how the angle and focus on the flower anyhow allow the rest to REALLY blur! and the fact there is bot hthe flower and the bud in shot - adds something to it. a pair!
